Designed to balance the stunning scenery, the refined interior of the Aria Amazon dining room has been stylishly finished with contemporary Peruvian° art, fine china and crystal° glassware. These aesthetic elements are matched by attentive, personalized service from long serving staff that quickly learn guest names and tastes, from Peruvian coffee in the morning to the evening’s fine South American and European wines.

Restaurant

Choose to dine à deux, or family style among new friends. Whatever dishes you choose among Schiaffino’s fresh, ever-changing modern Amazon jungle influenced menus, perhaps the hearts of palm soufflé followed by an Amazon° bass tiradito, do save room for dessert, be it a warm banana tart or classic chocolate fondant.

Observation Deck & Indoor Lounge

Many guests on the Aria Amazon arrive thinking that most of their days will be spent alternating between Amazon River shore excursions and lounging in relaxation in the privacy of their spacious suites. In fact, most of our guests enjoy experiencing the social life of the Aria Amazon’s Observation Deck, observing Amazon River locals and wildlife firsthand, as we glide by the Amazon rainforest and clusters of simple wooden houses on stilts with children playing soccer at the river’s edge.

The Observation Deck on the Aria’s top level is complemented by the Indoor Lounge, with its fully stocked bar at one end and tightly edited library at the other, fresh Amazon flowers° and unique artifacts in between, beckons lounging on its well stuffed cream sofas on polished timber floors under high ceilings. Outside, cushioned loungers under a soaring canopy encourage the relaxing indulgence of river gazing without concern for the sun’s glare. Or ease into the Aqua Aria’s outdoor Jacuzzi to cool off after a shore excursion in the sultry rainforest.

Outdoor Lounge

Nature takes care of the lighting on our generous outdoor deck on the Aria Amazon, with plenty of sunshine for those who wish to soak it up on cushioned loungers during the day to cooler evenings under the star filled sky. Guests seeking fresh Amazon air without being exposed to the sun will find plenty of space and comfortable° seating under the expansive awning of the outdoor lounge. While all our Amazon luxury cruises offer a full day of activities and excursions, we also invite our guests to opt out as they wish. Relax in our outdoor lounge while examining all yesterday’s photos of Amazon wildlife living in their natural habitats, deep in the rainforest.

Boutique

The Aria Amazon’s onboard boutique offers guests the convenience of shopping at their leisure for high quality, thoughtfully selected Peruvian handicrafts, and jewelry and Aqua Expedition souvenirs. Artisanal items featured here include original pieces we source directly from the artisans of Amazonia, who live and work in the communities we visit and actively support.

This is also the place to see the “Amazon proof” Enigma timepiece designed by Gianni Bulgari° exclusively for the launch of the Aria Amazon. Waterproof to a depth of 300 feet, the steel case with sapphire Aqua C42 Amazon watch and a limited selection of Gianni Bulgari designed diamond° and 14K gold Aqua Expedition jewelry are on display among our Peruvian treasures. Proceeds from the sale of these limited edition items go directly to social projects in the communities that the Aria Amazon visits throughout the year.

Fitness Centre

The Aria Amazon’s signature walls of glass come in especially helpful here in the ship’s dedicated workout space, offering engrossing distraction for guests on the treadmill and stationary bicycle.

Jacuzzi

Many days on the Amazon River reach scorching temperatures with high humidity. While our skiffs pick up cooling breezes and all our suites are air conditioned, upon returning from a day out on the water, our guests often make their way up to the Observation Deck’s outdoor Jacuzzi, an ideal way of cooling off° while watching pink river dolphins cavort and sipping a cooling pisco punch. Even in low water season, the top third level of the Aria Amazon, known as the Observation Deck, showcases the ship’s most compelling° vistas capturing the river’s dark hues, the verdant spectrum of wildlife and local life on shore and the cerulean sky above the tree canopy. Enjoy a jacuzzi to cap off your day spent on a riveting shore excursion photographing spectacled caimans, fishing for piranhas or trekking among soaring kapok trees encircled by strangler figs.

Spa Services

On the waters of the Peruvian Amazon, we launched new spa menus in 2015 featuring an expanded array of massage and spa services. The Aria Amazon offers an exclusive° top-deck massage room with internationally-trained° therapists offering a range of massages using 100% pure, natural essential oils. Each specially-crafted spa oil is developed from indigenous ingredients such as coconut and vanilla and harvested from either the highlands of Peru or Amazonia before being carefully distilled and conserved, using no additives.
